The normal route on Cima Grande (2,999 m) is one of the most classic climbs in the Dolomites.

It is an easy but long and complete climbing route, following the natural weaknesses of the mountain through chimneys, ledges, and ramps all the way to the summit cross.

• Difficulty: II – III UIAA
• Elevation gain: approx. 450–500 m
• Duration: approx. 6–7 hours
• Best period: June to October

This is an ideal ascent for those who already have experience on via ferratas or easy rock climbing routes. Despite the moderate difficulty, it requires focus, good rope management, and solid physical endurance, especially due to the length of the climb.

The setting is spectacular: during the ascent, you'll move through classic Dolomite features and enjoy 360° views over some of the most beautiful mountains in the region.
