General Terms and Conditions

These booking and cancellation conditions apply to all activities booked through DolomitX. By submitting a booking request, the customer declares that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions in full.

The reservation is considered confirmed only after receipt of written communication from Dolomitx and after payment of the required deposit. The emails (or messages) of request and confirmation have contractual value between the parties according to Italian law and are binding for those making the reservation and for all participants indicated therein, including minors.

Reservation

• Reservations are required for all activities and must be made by the evening before the activity begins, unless otherwise indicated.
• The costs indicated are per person for group excursions and per day for private guides.
• Prices may vary depending on the season, the number of participants, and the type of activity.
• For group outings, if the minimum number of participants is not reached, a supplement will be applied or the activity will be canceled with prior notice.

Confirmation Deposit

Reservations are only confirmed after payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount, according to the methods indicated in the confirmation email or according to specific agreements between the parties.

For special packages and customized offers, different deposit amounts may be communicated.

Payment

The balance of the amount due must be paid by the morning of departure, unless otherwise specified for specific activities or activities lasting several days.

Cancellation and Deletion

The reservation is made for a specific date, unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellation by the customer:

• If cancellation occurs within 15 days prior to the date of the activity, the total deposit paid (30% of the amount) will be refunded, net of any transaction fees.
• If cancellation occurs more than 15 days after the date of the activity, the entire deposit paid (30% of the total amount) will be retained.

Cancellation due to bad weather:

In the event of adverse weather conditions that make it impossible or dangerous to carry out the activity, Dolomitx reserves the right to cancel the activity.

In this case, the deposit paid will be refunded in full to the customer or, at the customer's request, it may be used to reschedule the activity for a new date.

Specific cancellation policies may apply to special packages and customized offers.

Changes to the Itinerary

Dolomitx mountain guides reserve the right to change schedules, itineraries, and programs based on:

• Weather conditions
• Physical condition and health of participants
• Accessibility issues
• Security reasons
• Participants will be notified of any changes in a timely manner.

Customer Responsibility

The customer declares:

• That you possess the physical abilities necessary to participate in the booked activity
• That I am not aware of any medical conditions that could constitute a contraindication for practicing this activity.
• To undertake to follow the instructions provided by the guides during the briefing and the activity itself.

Nature of the Service

Dolomitx is an intermediary platform that connects customers with professional mountain guides and mid-mountain guides. Dolomitx does not directly organize activities and assumes no responsibility for their performance.

Each guide is a freelancer who is duly registered with their professional association (Association of Alpine Guides or Association of Mid-Mountain Guides) and has:

• Professional liability insurance
• VAT number and regular registration with social security institutions

The fee will be billed directly by the guide to the customer, as the activity is carried out independently by the professional.

Use of Photographs and Video Material

During the activities, guides may take photographs and make video recordings of participants.

Dolomitx and the guides connected to the platform reserve the right to use such photographic and video material for:

• Advertise activities on the website www.dolomitx.com

• Share content on social networks (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

• Promotional and advertising material

By participating in the activity, the customer implicitly authorizes such use.

If the customer does not wish to give their consent to the use of their images, they must expressly communicate this, preferably in writing, to Dolomitx guides before the start of the activity.

Insurance

Participants are advised to take out personal insurance covering accidents, illness, and trip cancellation.

Every professional guide has their own professional liability insurance, as required by current legislation.
